This research aims to investigate the motivation of moving to cohousing communities in Sweden, and to find out if there are any significant differences according to two different cohousing types; between the +40 cohousing and the mixed-age cohousing.
Notable differences in demographic and dwelling variables are found between the two groups.

Assessing the Village Model and the Village To Village Network in Advocating Aging in Place for Older Americans
Aging in place allows seniors to remain in their choice of residence for as long as possible, using local services and conveniences to live safely and independently. The Village Model is a component of this movement, recognized as a community-based and peer-support network, which allows older people to age in their homes and remain active in their community.

It has been argued that attachment to place increases wellbeing in old age. Feeling ‘in place’ can increase an older person’s wellbeing. For older migrants it can be a challenge to live in-between cultures. The objective of the article is to explore how older Antillean migrants derive a sense of wellbeing from attachment to their everyday places.
