Volunteers and members end of year party

On Dec 13 HAAG workers were joined by volunteers and members for an end-of-year celebration to thank them for all their hard work over the year.  Special mention went to Betty, our Arabic-speaking community ambassador, who makes many referrals into our Home at Last Service every year for older people from the Arabic and Assyrian communities in the north.  She was thanked by outreach worker Melis and given a gift and certificate as a token of our appreciation for her dedication.  Vijay Laxmi, a member of our Cultural Diversity Reference Group and a hard worker community advocate, won the door prize.  All enjoyed a delicious middle eastern feast!
