Residential parks (also known as Part 4A parks or lifestyle villages) are a kind of retirement housing where a resident owns their dwelling, but rents the land it sits on.
What needs to change to make residential parks work better for older renters? This will be an opportunity for the Commissioner for Residential Tenancies and other policy-makers to hear directly from residents about the good and bad in this type of housing. This will help the Commissioner in her role as advocate to government, and help focus HAAG’s policy work.
Current and former residents as well as their families are encouraged to join the forum. We would like to see as many residents from as wide a range of villages as possible!
