People speaking out and asking decision makers for action can shift government policy to improve housing outcomes for older people as a priority. This toolkit provides some tips for influencing your federal representatives.
The toolkit is a simple guide to walk you through the process of arranging a meeting.
We have drafted a template letter for you that you can personalise to send to your local federal member and other candidates. If you’re only comfortable with sending the letter or have limited capacity, feel free to edit the letter and remove the section that requests a meeting and send it to the relevant members or candidates.
