It can be complex to navigate, and this session helps people to understand the pros and cons of different housing types, including retirement villages, residential parks, lifestyle villages, rental villages, and independent living units. The session will also cover where you can go for assistance if you are a retirement housing resident who needs support, information or advice.

An information session on the Federal Government’s Care Finder program, which assists older people to access aged care services. The session covers eligibility, what services people can access through My Aged Care and what other service supports are available. This session is suitable for people 65+, who are eligible for aged care services but don’t know how to access these services and have limited support.
