Housing for Life: Designed for Living

This Australian report seeks to share the learnings of the Innovation in Social Housing 90 day Project, undertaken in 2017, by the Office for Ageing. It also looks at the key principles that were identified by older people as critical for housing to meet their needs into the future, the innovation and inspiration provided by the industry, and the challenges that still need to be resolved. Future housing ideas for older people are discussed, particularly the idea of co-housing, with examples from Switzerland and The Netherlands being seen as best practice.
