HAAG is celebrating its 40 year anniversary by making a quilted scrap banner with pieces contributed by members and staff to represent people coming together to advocate for housing justice for all older people!

If you, a friend, a family member or a client are looking into a retirement village, a lifestyle park, a rental village, a residential park or a caravan park come along for a general understanding of the different housing types, their pros and cons and their similarities and differences. The presentation will also cover information on where you can go for assistance if you are a retirement housing residence who needs support, information or advice. It will also discuss campaigning in the retirement housing sector, and how to become a member of one of our action groups to change the system!

Are you skipping meals so you can afford your rent? Do you worry about your housing and how you can make ends meet? If this is you or someone you know, come along to this information session at Bunjil Place Library in Narre Warren to find out how people aged 50+ can access affordable housing.  

The housing crisis is the worst in living memory. It is a humanitarian disaster. 750,000 people live in housing stress and are in desperate need of secure housing. What is on offer from federal and state governments is grossly inadequate and set to make the situation worse. Hear from a panel of activist researchers, unionists and housing activists from all over the country discuss how to achieve housing justice.
