Aging in Place: A State Survey of Livability Policies and Practices

This US research builds upon earlier work to offer state legislators and officials concrete examples of state laws, policies and programs that foster aging in place. Specifically, readers will learn about land use, transportation and housing strategies that help older adults age in their communities. State legislators play a critical role in enacting legislation and providing funding for programs that make a difference in the lives of older adults in the community.
